Goodbye

As of the 1st November I will no longer be a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator.  I apologise for the inconvience this may cause some.

As a result of this decision the calander card box class which had been scheduled for late October has been cancelled, all those who had booked in have been notified.

Calendar Box Card Class

For anyone interested class info is now up and available in the ‘classes’ page here on my blog.

Always – birthday card

heartHBcardheartHBcardcloseupI really love this set ‘Always’ and am glad it made it into the current catalogue. The heart in particular is just beautiful and has so many uses.

This time I used

Regal Rose & Pink Pirouette cardstock

Regal Rose inkpad and marker

Eyelet Lace border punch

Curvy Label punch (used the market to highlight the edges and popped it up with dimensionals.

Stamps sets – Always and Voila (birthday greeting).

Here is a close up of the flower from the pretties kit which I coloured by simpling dabbing a sponge dauber into Regal Rose inkpad and dabbing onto the flower – instant colour that perfectly matches your cardstock.

The centre of the flower is a stamped image from the always set punched out with the 1/2″ (#6 in catalogue) punch with the pewter build a brad set. Easy way to make fancy brads that perfectly match your page.

Really Retro Circle Circus Card

thanksagazillion

I love the Really Retro greetings, where else do you see thanks a gazillion!

This one I just made a sheet of stamped paper using circle circus with close to cocoa, pumpkin pie and old olive (a favourite combination of mine).

The circle scallop punch matches so nicely with this set for perfect flowers just add a bit of old olive ribbon for a stem and your done!

a sympathy card with Upsy Daisy

sympathyok it doesn’t say with sympathy but that was the thought I was getting across when I designed this one. The simple grey and white colour scheme was meant to express that while the touch of yellow was supposed to express hope. I hope that it does that for more than just me lol!  And stamp your envelopes girls – it’ll only take you a second but make it all look like it goes together…a simple touch.  The paper is from the 6×6 designer papers which are one of the level 1 hostess gifts.

Corner Bookmarks

cornerbookmks

I made these cute  little corner bookmarks for a make and take at a recent demo. They fit over the corner of your page in your book and the little ribbon hands out.

I used:

Real Red Cardstock, ribbon and ink, whisper white cardstock and wild about you stamps.

Old Olive Cardstock, ribbon, and ink, barely banana cardstock, ruby red ink, organic grace & Live like you mean it stamps.

Pumpkin Pie Cardstock, ribbon and ink, very vanilla cardstock, basic brown ink, watercolour crayons and A Kind Word stampset.

Pacific Point Cardstock and ink, very vanilla cardstock & ribbon, basic brown ink,  All in the Family, Family Favourites & Really Retro stampsets.

Three different looks with one sketch

These three layouts were done from one sketch for a class I did a few weeks ago.  It is the same sketch with some minor changes each time and using different stamps sets and colours. Apologies for the not so great photos!stkilda

This one used Night of Navy, Tempting Turquoise, Ruby Red & Vanilla with Circle Circus stamp set & Big Deal Alpha.

I used

pink pirouette cardstock

chocolate chip designer paper

flowers & pearls from pretties kit

sweet sticky cuts (I used the w upsided down as an m, and the e from the word ’sweet’ to make ‘me’)

pink chunky glitter and brown from the supernova glitter set.

Uncharted Territory

Who loves lighthouses?

This is a preview of one of the new sets in the Spring Mini-catalogue, for sale from the 1st August (email me if you would like me to mail you a copy of the mini-catalogue).

I used this set to make a bookmark for my 7yr old who is reading his first ever chapter book (yay Owen)!

Both the quote and the lighthouse come from this new set (there is also a yacht). I have watercoloured the image, the sky is pale blue although it doesn’t seem to have picked up on the scan.
